I thought when I signed up to take Pilates class I would be taking a class from someone that knew about Pilates, but I was fortunate to get connected with Kira who knows so much more than just about Pilates. She really knows the body and many other types of treatments. I have had serval different injuries the last few years that she has been able to work around and work towards improving. One of the aspects of working with her that I appreciate the most is her ability to explain to me why I am feeling pain in certain areas or why my body functions in certain ways so that I am able to notice it myself and work towards being more mechanically correct. The best part, she's fun to talk to while she's making you do one more roll-up or telling you to make a double chin!

Almost 4 years ago I started working with Kira to improve my fitness through Pilates. My work with Kira has helped me achieve so much more than I anticipated. She is very body intuitive and has developed an individualized program for me that has improved my fitness, balance, flexibility, strength, and posture. Kira is very knowledgeable about the body, how it functions, and what it needs to recover. Over the years, she has modified our sessions to effectively respond to a condition I may be experiencing, such as a strained achilles or hip from running. She has been able to provide hands-on treatments as needed. Kira has used a variety or methods and equipment to help me achieve my goals. And, she is an absolute delight to work with.
